The art of capturing what the eye sees and the imagination
experiences as a traveler roams the earth has been the focus
of story-tellers and writers throughout history. Since Early Man
first drew pictures on the walls of caves, to the stone carvings
of Ancient Egypt, to the artists creating the great frescos of
Rome, the passion to relate our journeys and conquests has
driven us to be ever more creative.
Breakthroughs in science and technology have given us new tools
to capture more. Photographers, Film-makers, and television crews
are the modern day Marco Polos bringing to the home and hearth the
wonders of this planet and its peoples.
Now, with the wide-spread ownership of computers, a new and exciting
method of storytelling is available to a large part of the population, Multimedia .
This project is an attempt to demonstrate this medium by
sharing with you my favorite jogging paths in Golden Gate
Park. We'll travel miles and miles of winding paths
through some of the most gorgeous scenery while I point out
the amazing attractions and history of the park with
pictures, links and some surprises. Enjoy yourself and
be sure to take a good look around.
